Import Ban: 'You can't tweet Nigeria First from France' - Kalu Aja challenges Tinubu, govs

A renowned financial expert, Kalu Aja has reacted to the Nigerian Government's recent ban on importation of foreign goods.

Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris had while addressing journalists after the Federal Executive Council meeting on Monday, said President Bola Tinubu has banned with immediate effect, importation of goods, especially those being produced in the country.

In post on his X handle, Aja listed what should form the Nigeria First Policy of the government.

He wrote, "Nigeria First means:

Government contracts for Nigerian-made goods. President, National Assembly and Governors MUST ride Innoson and NORD

Children of political appointees, top civil servants, wards MUST be schooled in Nigeria 

The President, the National Assembly and Governors MUST use only Nigerian hospitals

The President, the National Assembly and the Governors MUST vacation in Nigeria 

The President, the National Assembly and the Governors MUST stop importing PMS when we have a local refinery 

You can't tweet “Nigeria First” from France and expect to be taken seriously 

Don't tell me, show me."
