An atmosphere of uncertainty currently pervades the camp of Mr Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general election.
There has been a battle for the soul of the Labour Party, a fight that went up to the Supreme Court.
But weeks after the Supreme Court judgement there remains no clear direction.
Just yesterday, the Julius Abure-led faction announced the suspension of Governor Alex Otti.
Also suspended were Senators Darlington Nwokocha and Ireti Kingibe, as well as Victor Afam Ogene, Amobi Ogah, and Seyi Sowumi, over alleged anti-party activities.
But same day, the faction loyal to Obi and Otti, under the caretaker chairmanship of Senator Nenadi Usman said Abure will face a disciplinary panel.
Otti had earlier declared Abure an impersonator and asked the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun to arrest him.
However, NATIONAL POST reports that a check on the website of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), on Thursday afternoon showed that Abure was still listed as the LP chairman.
INEC also listed Alhaji Umar Farouk Ibrahim as National Secretary of the party.
According to the electoral umpire, it was based on court order.

It's unclear whether Abure’s name was re-enlisted after studying the Certified True Copy CTC of the Supreme Court judgment.
A copy of the judgement was submitted to the commission during a visit led by Otti weeks earlier.
Meanwhile, there have been rumours that the coalition being nursed by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar may settle for African Democratic Congress, (ADC), as a platform to drive the campaign against President Bola Tinubu.
Obi was present the day Atiku announced the coalition against Tinubu, but the movement appears not to have gathered momentum ever since.
When contacted, a key member of the Obi's camp, who preferred anonymity, declared that, "it is not much about a particular platform, rather about a movement to rescue Nigeria.
"So, if the LP platform becomes problematic, millions of Nigerians who believe in this project will follow Mr Peter Obi to anywhere he goes."
