By

The management of Mainpower Electricity Distribution Limited (MEDL) has advised its customers under Abakpa, Awkunanaw, Nsukka and Ogui districts, to pay their energy bill for the month as it plans to commence disconnection of indebted customers.

This was contained in advisory issues by the MEDL management on Friday.

It urged customers to pay their bills before the disconnection team gets to their premises and not wait for Marketers to visit before they pay, to avoid payment of reconnection fee.

“The current energy bill, which is for energy consumed in the previous month, is expected to be paid by the 15th day of the succeeding month.

“Customers with arrears are encouraged to clear their bills or take advantage of the discount scheme known as “Accelerated Settlement of Arrears Project (ASAP)”

“Payments can be made at the Mainpower Electricity Cash Offices or at the collection agent locations.

“Pay on time to avoid the inconveniences of being disconnected or surcharged.

“When bills are paid, Mainpower Electricity will be able to serve its customers better.

“At Mainpower, we remain committed to delivering improved services to our esteemed customers,” it advised the customers.
