The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), has broken its silence on alleged Naira abuse by Chief Government Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo.
NATIONAL POST had over the weekend shared a video clip where Tompolo was accused of abusing the Naira.
Netizens said the EFCC may look the other way because of Tompolo’s influence.
Responding to the demands by concerned Nigerians, EFCC in a post on its official X handle on Monday said "Nobody is above the law. Tompolo will have questions to answer!"
As of the time of filing this report, it is unclear whether the commission has invited Tompolo for questioning.
