An ex-chairman of the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, and Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, Sam Amadi, declared that Mr Peter Obi is the only one who ought to be elected President of Nigeria.
Amadi said this while lamenting what he described as the growing pattern of unwarranted attacks on the former Labour Party LP presidential candidate, Obi, by senior government officials.
He said whereas they were busy talking about Obi, the latter was concerned about Nigeria.
Amadi, in a post on his official X account, cited the recent criticisms from the Presidency, the Governor of Lagos State, and Senate President, Godswill Akpabio as examples of this misplaced focus.
“Meanwhile Peter Obi is not talking about anyone apart from the Nigerian condition and his vision for change.
“If election is a rational exercise, Peter Obi is so far the only person who ought to be elected.”
