The Police in Adamawa State have nabbed a man who disguised as a woman
The man, 19-year-old Mohammed Umar, was arrested in a church.
The resident of Abuja Road, Yola South Local Government Area, was found loitering within the premises of LCCN Church, Ngurore, Yola South LGA.
In a statement by the image maker of the Adamawa State Police Command, Suleiman Nguroje, he said the command now has custody of the man, who was seen "wearing clothing that is typically associated with an opposite sex (women)."
The Police said the man was arrested on Monday, May 18, 2025 in response to a report received from one Sunday Andrawus.
Ngurore said Sunday Andrawus reported the man to Ngurore Divisional Police Headquarters after observing the suspect's movement within the premises of the Church.
"The Commissioner of Police Adamawa state Command, CP Dankombo Morris, has directed the case to be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yola, for discreet and full scale investigation," he stated.
