PDP crisis: ‘Even Julius Berger crane can’t remove me from office’ - Anyanwu

By

Embattled National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Senator Samuel Anyanwu has boasted that nobody can remove him from office.

He said this during a stakeholders’ meeting of members of the party from the South-East.

Anyanwu also vowed to resign if Governor Peter Mbah and other PDP governors indict him for collecting anything from them.

According to him, “I am the only National Secretary of the PDP, and no force, not even a Julius Berger crane, can remove me from this position.

"I dare Governor Peter Mbah and every PDP Governor to publicly say if I have taken a bottle of water from them. If anyone does, I will resign immediately.”

Anyanwu and SKE Ude-Okoye are locked in a battle over who is the authentic National Secretary of the PDP.

While the South-East caucus of the party is behind Ude-Okoye, Anyawnu is said to have the backing of Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
