The Progressive Governors Forum, on Thursday promised to deliver their states to President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
They made the pledge at the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) National Summit, taking place at the banquet hall of the State House, Abuja.
This comes as the coalition movement by the opposition members gathers momentum.
NATIONAL POST reports that the governors announced endorsement of President Tinubu as their sole candidate for the 2027 presidential election.
Chairman of the Forum, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State moved a motion for the endorsement and was seconded by Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani.
Uzodimma vowed that they would mobilize resources and ensure victory for Tinubu in their respective states.
There have been similar endorsements of Tinubu by the APC stakeholders in the Northern region of the country.
Latest of such endorsements came from the North Central region of the party on Wednesday in Abuja.
