Chelsea vs Real Betis: Jordan slams Blues’ manager, Maresca

By

Ahead of the UEFA Europa Conference League final coming up today, Wednesday, former Crystal Palace chairman, Simon Jordan has slammed Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca over his recent comments.

Maresca had expressed sadness that Real Betis' last match of LaLiga season will give them more time to prepare for the Conference League final.

According to BBC Sport, Maresca believes his Chelsea team are now at a disadvantaged position.

This did not go down well with Jordan.

Speaking on talkSPORT (via The Chelsea Chronicle), Jordan said that Maresca should not worry too much because he should be able to win the Conference League anyway.

“Maybe if you got the job done, you could've put the reserves out [this weekend], so pack it in.

"I mean, the bottom line is you are playing in the pub Conference League.

"You should be able to win it anyway. I know Betis will be more formidable opposition than you have had previously,” Jordan said.
