Some of the key bills introduced this week include: National Emergency Call Centre and Short Code (Establishment) Bill, Women’s Health and Surrogacy Protection Bill and Real Estate Development Bank Bill.

The Reps further indicated that several of the bills also seek amendments to existing legislation to enhance institutional performance and relevance. These include:

Other bills include: Labour Act (Amendment) Bills; Tertiary Education Trust Fund Act (Amendment) Bill; Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act (Amendment) Bill; National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure Act (Amendment) Bill; Nigerian Minerals and Mining Act (Amendment) Bill and National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency Act (Amendment) Bill.

“These legislative efforts reflect a focused drive toward citizen-centered governance, policy modernisation, and sustainable service delivery,” it further said in the post.
