Following the sealing of its national secretariat on Monday, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is currently holding its Board of Trustees meeting.
The closed-door meeting is holding at the Bauchi Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.
It comes a few hours after the party's National Secretariat was revoked by the Federal Capital Territory Authority over non payment of ground rent.
Also top of discussion is the threat by Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory to fight for justice in the party.
Present at the meeting are the Acting National Chairman Umar Iliya Damagum; Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah; Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri; Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang; Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri; and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, who also chairs the PDP Governors’ Forum.
Others are Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal; former Senate President Bukola Saraki; PDP BoT member Ben Obi; retired Navy Commodore Olabode George; former Information Minister Jerry Gana; former Niger State Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu; former PDP Ministers’ Forum Chair Kabiru Tanimu Turaki; and former Women Affairs Minister Josephine Anenih.
