Paris Saint-Germain completed a quadruple on Saturday just after the departure of their former striker, Kylian Mbappe.
NATIONAL POST reported earlier that PSG took on Inter Milan on Saturday night and hammered them 5-0 in the Champions League final in Munich.
This happened just one season after Mbappe left the club and joined Real Madrid in chase of Champions League glory.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano tweeted after the game:
"𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋:!PSG have completed the quadruple in their FIRST season after Kylian Mbappé left the club.'
In January, PSG claimed the French Super Cup and the Ligue 1 title followed in April.
Last Saturday, PSG overpowered Reims to lift the Coupe de France for a record 16th time in its 108 year history.
It could be recalled that club bosses had upped the ante and spent a record 222 million euros in search of Champions League trophy.
A teenage Kylian Mbappé was also drafted in from Monaco.
Under head coach Thomas Tuchel, PSG reached the 2020 Champions League final for the first time, but they lost to Bayern Munich.
