Angry youths have blocked the Enugu-Otukpo Road, at Owukpa axis of Benue State over weekend's abduction of traders by suspected herdsmen.
They are demanding immediate action from the government for the rescue of the victims.
NATIONAL POST learnt that commuters are currently stranded, as the youths of Owukpa in Ogbadigbo LGA of Benue State insist nobody would be granted access.
It could be recalled that gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen, weekend, hijacked a fully-loaded Benue Links vehicle and abducted several female passengers.
The victims were traders returning from Orba market in Enugu State to Owukpa.
No contact has been made to their families till this moment, prompting the ongoing protest.
