Wike - I shed tears because of Fubara

By

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has disclosed that he wept because of what his successor, Siminalayi Fubara did to him.

Wike, a former governor of Rivers State made the revelation during his interaction with journalists in Abuja on Monday.

Fubara, now suspended, with a state of emergency in place, was installed by Wike as his successor.

However, in less than one year, the party was over and a major political war ensued between father and son.

Wike has consistently stated that Fubara allowed himself to be used by other people.

And recalling some of the speeches made by the governor in the peak of the crisis, Wike said he wept.

He said: “When I go back in my quiet moments, I play the video of speeches of the governor (Fubara), what he said; what he did to me; I weep.

"Was it necessary? This was somebody who brought you, gave you food, gave you everything, did this for you, and then you became a tool for his enemies to fight him.”
