Popular Catholic priest, Rev Fr Prof Paul Obayi has sent a warning message to those engaging in witchcraft to kill and destroy livelihoods.
NATIONAL POST reports that the charismatic priest, who is in charge of Okunerere Adoration Ministry, based in Nsukka, Enugu State, gave the warning in a video posted on the ministry's official social media page.
He decried a situation where people hid under the pretext of culture and tradition to perpetuate evil.
Obayi said instead of using the so-called witchcraft powers to do valuable things, they were only interested in killing people and bringing setbacks.
He said in the video: “What I'm saying is that all these things you see, that all these things you see, I don't know why our people are like this.
“There is one I have, they use it, they manipulate it, and knock your engine car.”
While holding one of the fetish objects he recovered from a community, the priest said: “This one, now, you think it is ordinary. Look at it. It has real bullet inside it, spiritual machine gun. You will be running. You will be suffering World War, Nigeria civil war on your bed.
“They carry these things pursue you around, and when they get you, sometimes you get cancer, get all these things. This is a real bullet, a real bullet.
“I've told, when I was at Adani, I told them all this witch, you used to harass people, even those who are abroad are suffering your terror.
“Now, I told them, convert all these powers to help humanity.
“Oyibo man (White man) use their own to create airplanes, create ships on the high sea, create a phone, but your own, you kill people,
He has bought car, you knock the engine You knock the engine. You can't create engine. He's building house, you will use thunder, knock it down.
“Everything, his children are progressing, you tie them down like this.
“Is this culture? That’s my question, is this culture?”
He then challenged the witched and wizards to make positive use of their powers, and flying all the way from Nsukka to America just to attack innocent people.
“Okay, now, why can't you as a witch, because these people are terrible Oh; you can imagine that in the night, they will move from Nsukka here to America and attack somebody, and before morning they are back on their bed without airport.
“Why can't you use that thing and form Witchcraft Transport Company, WTC, I will come and open the park for you.
“Use your own for good thing, tradition, tradition, what have we received from it? You see it?
“WTC- Witchcraft Transport Company, so that in the morning you come to the park, gwam, Onitsha Onitsha, gwam, they will pay you, even if it is N5,000; one second you are back.
“Give me my money and they give you. Lagos, Lagos Lagos, you can do these things and come back.
“But this one to kill somebody, take his blood. Kill this, kill that.
“Halloween abroad, they do this kind thing; but for you, it is kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, use blood, use human head, and you are hiding your own.
“God go wire all of you this time around, you better change now,” he warned them, stressing “you call it culture, that is falsity, deception.”
