Amid the escalating conflict between both countries, Israel has warned Iran that its capital, Tehran will burn.
Israeli Defense Minister, Israel Katz, who gave the caution, warned Iran against its retaliatory attacks.
He said the country will pay heavily.
Katz warned that "Tehran will burn" if Iran continues its retaliatory attacks of firing missiles at Israel.
He issued the warning during an assessment meeting with the army's chief of staff, on Saturday.
"If (Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali) Khamenei continues to fire missiles at the Israeli home front — Tehran will burn," Katz said.
NATIONAL POST reports that Israel has officially requested its ally, the United States of America, to join the war.
Also, the British Prime Minister Keir Starmer was reported on Saturday to have said that his country was sending more military assets and fighter jets to the Middle East to provide support in the region.
"We're moving assets to the region, including jets, and that's for contingency support in the region," Starmer said.
