Chelsea are through to the quarter-final of the 2025 Club World Cup.
They defeated Benfica 4-1 on Saturday night to book their place.
The first team to qualify was Palmeiras, who beat their Brazilian rivals, Botafogo 1-0 in the first last-16 fixture.
The game dragged on to extra time after 90 minutes, and it was Palmeiras that found the back of the net in the 100th minute.
Paulinho cut in from the right to fire home the only goal of the match.
Palmeiras will now take on Chelsea in the quarter-final.
The Blues booked their spot after claiming a 4-1 victory over Benfica, in a game that kicked off on Saturday and finished on Sunday due to adverse weather conditions.
Reece James opened the scoring from a free-kick in the second half in Charlotte, before Angel Di Maria levelled with a penalty kick after play resumed.
But Chelsea scored twice through Christopher Nkunku, Neto and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in extra time to progress.
