The scheduled 100th National Executive Council, NEC, meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has erupted in clashes between the party members and security agencies.
This was contained in a message posted on the party’s social media page on Monday.
It alleged that members of the party's Board of Trustees, BoT, are currently being harassed by security agencies, in connivance with the All Progressives Congress, APC.
It reads, “Happening Now- Federal Police, other Security Agencies with the Order of All Progressives Congress (APC), harassing Board of Trustees members and staff of the Party’s National Secretariat in a bid to stop the scheduled meeting.”
In a follow up announcement, the PDP said the meeting venue by its BoT has now been moved from its National Secretariat.
“Special Announcement!
