2027: ‘Urban, rural banditry will be extinguished’ - El-Rufai vows as coalition unveils ADC

By

Former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has vowed that with the opposition politicians coming together under the African Democratic Congress, ADC, ‘urban and rural banditry will be extinguished’ in Nigeria.

This is not the first time the former governor is making reference to urban bandits.

He had on several occasions alluded that urban bandits were in charge of affairs in Nigeria.

And then speaking on Wednesday after former Senate President, David Mark took over as the Interim National Chairman of the ADC, El-Rufai said both rural and urban bandits would be extinguished.

His post read: “JUST IN: Sen David Mark takes over as Interim National Chairman of the ADC. The coalition transition has started. Congrat, Nigeria! Urban and rural banditry will be extinguished, by God's Grace.”

NATIONAL POST had reported that politicians from across different political parties in the country are attending the ADC unveiling at the Shehu Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.
