Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike has likened a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dele Momodu to a "boy."
He also claimed he didn’t know the renowned international journalist’s name.
Wike said Momodu was never his friend because he has nothing to offer.
Speaking during his monthly media chat, the Minister recalled that Momodu never got one vote as a presidential candidate.
In 2011, Momodu emerged as the presidential candidate of the National Conscience Party, NCP, but he later defected to the PDP.
In 2022, the publisher of Ovation Magazine contested during the PDP's presidential primaries but lost, with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar emerging winner.
Momodu has been very vocal against Wike's alleged involvement in the leadership crisis that rumbled PDP.
He said recently that Wike cannot defect to the ruling APC owing to fear of losing authority.
Responding, Wike said: "There is this boy, they say he is a journalist. What's his name? He is big.”
Then a journalist said: "Dele Momodu".
Wike continued: "Okay, I don’t remember all these names. He was never my friend, there are things that I won't tell you.
"This is somebody who ran for presidency, but he didn’t get one vote.
"Is that the kind of coalition you will tell me when you see him there, we like people.who appear on TV without anything to show."
