El-Rufai has nuisance value - Aisha Yesufu

By

Co-convener of the defunct BringBackOurGirls group, Aisha Yesufu, has justified why she will work with former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai.

Both El-Rufai and Yesufu are known not to be best of friends, but the recent political realignment has seen the duo in the opposition coalition.

They are both members of the recently unveiled African Democratic Congress, ADC.

Yesufu is now declaring that she will put the enmity aside and work with the former governor.

She was reacting to criticisms on social media and insisted that nation building is not "a romantic affair".

According to her, El-Rufai has a nuisance value that she will use, as they attempt to remove President Bola Tinubu from power in 2027.

Yesufu wrote on X: "Nasir El Rufai @elrufai has a nuisance value: his anger and vindictiveness, and you think I will not use that?

"Let me laugh in 3D!

"You think Nation building is a romantic affair? I am okay with looking bad while you look good."

Yesufu had earlier warned the leaders of the coalition not to reserve only positions of women and youths leaders for the young ones and the women.

She said they must be factored in the key decision making process.
