President Bola Tinubu's Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has played down the possibility of Mr Peter Obi emerging a presidential candidate in 2027.
Obi is part of the opposition coalition members who have adopted African Democratic Congress, ADC, as their official platform.
However, Bwala said Obi can only hope to be president in 2031.
Bwala disclosed this while noting that Obi can't be Vice presidential candidate in 2027.
Featuring on Channels Television's Politics Today, Bwala said Obi can only be the campaign Director General in 2027.
He believes that former vice president, Atiku Abubakar and Chibuike Amaechi are more likely to get the ADC ticket than Obi.
Bwala said: “Peter Obi is not even going to be Vice Presidential candidate. He is going to be DG of the campaign with the hopes that he will be President in 2031.”
Two days ago, Obi declared his interest to run for presidency in 2027.
