The United Arab Emirates, UAE, has slammed fresh conditions on Nigerians who are planning to travel to the country.
This comes months after the country lifted an earlier visa ban on Nigerians.
This time, it has prohibited all transit visa applications.
In a notice communicated to travel agents on Tuesday, the UAE also banned Nigerians between 18 and 45 years from obtaining tourist visa unless accompanied.
The notification added that applicants who are 45 years or above "must provide a Single Nigerian personal bank statement for a period of last six months, with each month’s end balance reflecting a minimum ending balance of USD 10,000 or its naira equivalent."
