Nsukka East State Constituency Councilors have congratulated a member of Enugu State House of Assembly representing the area, Hon Dr Pious Onyekachi Ezugwu on his historical merit Award received recently at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN.
Our correspondent reports that Ezugwu received the award on Thursday, 9th July, 2025, during the conference of the 10th Years anniversary of Vocational Technical Education of University of Nigeria Nsukka held at Princess Alexandra Auditorium (PAA).
Ezugwu received an award of leadership excellence for his innovative leadership style.
In a congratulatory message by the councillors from the Nsukka East Constituency, they described the award as a testament to the lawmaker’s “outstanding leadership quality and a good legislative representation.”
“Your impact in the past two years has fulfilled your campaign manifesto driven by your hunger to bring the dividend of democracy to the large populace of your Constituency.
“We thank His excellency Peter Ndubisi Mbah who has transformed the infrastructural development of Enugu State to compete with the States in the developed countries of the world.
“We once again wish you more strength, vision and wisdom to attract more development in our dear constituency,” the Councillors of Nsukka East constituency said in the congratulatory message signed on their behalf by Hon. Paul Amaechi Odoh representing Agbamere/Umabor ward.
