Club World Cup 2025: Chelsea stun PSG with 3-0, Trump reacts

By

Chelsea shocked bookmakers on Sunday as it thrashed Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the Club World Cup final.

PSG were the favourites going into the game but Chelsea scored three unreplied goals to emerge Champions.

Cole Palmer curled in a pair of identical goals from the right side of the box, to put Chelsea firmly in control at the MetLife Stadium.

Palmer then provided a slide-rule pass for Joao Pedro to make it 3-0 - his third goal at the tournament since joining Chelsea.

There were no goals in the second half, as Enzo Maresca's men held on to win the Club World Cup in addition to the UEFA Conference League they clinched last month.

Reacting to the outcome of the match, United States President Donald Trump said he had a great time.

Trump spoke to DAZN Football at half- time at the MetLife Stadium in US.

Speaking about the first half encounter between Chelsea and PSG, Trump said he was having a great time.

The Republican also described the Club World Cup as a "tremendous sport".

"I'm having a really great time," Trump told DAZN Football.

"This is a tremendous sport," he added.
