By

Four days after the sum of N2 million was stolen from its owner in Nkwo Ibagwa Market, Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State, the money has been returned.

NATIONAL POST learnt that the money was returned in a bag by an unidentified woman.

This came after the dreaded Adoro-Ero deity was brought to the market by the owner of the missing money.

The followers of the Adoro-Aro deity could be seen in a video making incantations, while people in the market watched.

They gave a four-day ultimatum for the money to be returned or repercussions would follow.

A social media influencer, Chijinkem Ugwuanyi had posted four days ago how the owner brought the Adoro deity into the market, laying curse on whoever stole the money.

He posted then: “Adoro-Ero Deity at Nkwo Ibagwa Aka Market Today.

“According to what happened, Ebuka from Orba came to Nkwo Ibagwa market and they stole his 2 million naira today inside the market.

“After crying inside the market and the money was not recovered, Ebuka proceeded to Adoro-Ero deity for intervention and quick action.

“Four days ultimatum was given to whoever stole the N2million naira to bring the money back or bear the consequences that will follow it.”

Exactly, four days later, a Facebook Page, Ibagwa Aka People, posted that the money had been returned.

With an accompanying video, the post reads: “2MILLION naira stolen in NKWO IBAGWA-AKA MARKET four days ago returned by a woman today. YOU WAN TRY ADORO ERO DEITY.”

The owner narrated that a woman came and dropped a bag at the same spot where the money was stolen.

According to voices in the video, when the bag was opened, the missing money was found.

Efforts were made to count the money to ensure that it was complete, with some cautioning that the money should be handled with care since it had involved Adoro deity.

Voices of excited traders could be heard in the video shouting: ‘E dey play, E dey show’, while others were shouting ‘Jesus Igweee’.
