Wike might be destructive factor of Tinubu govt -Legal expert

By

Lawyer and public affairs analyst, Liborous Oshoma, has warned that the conduct of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, could be damaging to the presidency.

Oshoma gave this warning on Monday, when he featured on ‘The Morning Brief’, a programme on Arise News.

The legal luminary said Wike's behaviour was drawing unnecessary political attention and distracting from governance, expressing concern about the trend of prioritising politics over governance, especially in the nation’s capital.

“If care is not taken, he might be the destructive factor of the president.

"Not everybody disagrees with the president, but a lot of people disagree with the manner and approach of his minister for FCT.

“You can see we have elevated politics so high above governance that now anybody that wants to play politics, you don’t need to be meaningful, just hold the mic and people will listen,” he said.
