The Ibom Air female passenger, Emmanson Comfort, who was at the centre of an airport row, has broken silence after she was freed from prison.
NATIONAL POST reported that Comfort was released on Wednesday after a Lagos Magistrate Court discharged her.
In a post on her Instagram page, (#soft_commy) while thanking Nigerians who stood for her when she was demanded, she said she was still in pains over the treatment meted on her.
Comfort said she would say her own side of the story when she is in a better state of mind.
She said, “Thank you so much for the prayers, love and support. I’ve been released from the prison, but I’m still in pain due to how I was treated.
“I just need some rest and medical treatment before I give out my own version of the event.
"Thank you so much, my lovely friends and supporters. I really appreciate y’all from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all. Thank you, my great God.”
It could be recalled that after her clash with Ibom Air crew members, Comfort was sent to Kirikiri prison.
However, on Wednesday, Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo ordered that she be released.
This prompted the police to file a motion for the withdrawal of the case.
