Kaduna: El-Rufai loses as APC clinches three positions

By

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has claimed the three positions contested during Saturday’s bye-elections.

NATIONAL POST reports that three positions included: Hon. Fidelix Bagudu (Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency), Hon. Isa Haruna Muhammed (Zaria Kewaye State Constituency), and Hon. Dahiru Umar-Sani (Basawa State Constituency).

Yahaya Baba Pate State, Secretary, APC Kaduna State, in a statement said the victories were not mere electoral wins.

He described it as eloquent affirmation of the people’s steadfast faith in the progressive ideals championed by the great party.

According to the statement, the victories reflected  the enduring resonance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the inclusive, people-centered leadership of His Excellency Senator Uba Sani, whose governance model continues to redefine participatory democracy in Kaduna State.

“Governor Uba Sani's tenure has been marked by far-reaching strides in security enhancement, rural infrastructure, and human capital development.

“His administration’s inclusive and detribalised approach has brought historically marginalized voices to the center of governance,” the party said.

It said the APC now claimed victory in the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, an opposition stronghold for over two decades.

“It is a profound endorsement of the Governor’s bridge-building style, one that places unity, equity, and development above partisan or ethnic considerations.

“The APC extended deep gratitude to the electorate for their overwhelming support, it said, and assured the people that “our newly elected lawmakers will honour this trust with purposeful, transparent, and responsive representation.”
