The All Progressives Congress, APC, has claimed that its major victory in the Saturday's bye-elections conducted across 12 states was an endorsement of President Bola Tinubu administration by Nigerians.
NATIONAL POST reports that the APC swept the polls in most of the states where bye-elections and rerun were conducted.
Reacting, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Felix Morka, said in a statement on Sunday that it was an endorsement of the Tinubu presidency by Nigerians.
Morka thanked Nigerians for their decisive support which resulted in the massive triumph of its candidates.
He said that Tinubu's government is now steadily delivering transformation of the country’s economy and other sectors of national life.
“This win is yet another solid endorsement of President Tinubu’s administration and its Renewed Hope Agenda designed to deliver by Nigerians," he said.
The APC's spokesman lauded Tinubu and leaders of the APC for creating a level playing field for the by-election contest.
Morka equally commended the Progressive Governors’ Forum, PGF, devoted party leaders, members and supporters for their sacrificial efforts and contribution towards the party’s electoral victory.
Meanwhile, the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has condemned the outcome of the polls, slamming the APC for allegedly endangering democracy.
