Former Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign Coordinator in Zamfara State, Senator Kabiru Marafa, has suggested that his resignation from the ruling All Progressives Congress would affect President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election.
Marafa specifically stated that he would deduct one million votes from Tinubu's 2023 vote total.
He said: "I am going to deduct one million votes from Mr President's 2023 vote total."
Marafa stated this on Monday while fielding questions on Channels TV's Politics Today programme.
NATIONAL POST reported that the former senator had earlier confirmed his resignation from the APC.
However, speaking on Monday about his resignation from the APC, Marafa said he hadn't decided on which political party he will join.
The former lawmaker claimed that he was still studying the members in the various political parties before making his final choice.
