Former Minister of Justice and a leader of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, coalition, Abubakar Malami, escaped death on Monday.
Malami and his entourage narrowly escaped death after being attacked by hoodlums who pelted them with stones in Kebbi City, Kebbi State.
The incident happened while Malami and his entourage were returning from a condolence visit in Kebbi city.
The attack was said to be a sign that locals disapproved of Malami because they claimed he never improved their lives while he was in power.
Malami was the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation under the administration of late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
After leaving office, Malami dumped the All Progressives Congress, APC, and joined the ADC coalition.
