Nnaji’s resignation shows Tinubu’s zero tolerance for corruption – APC chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Victor Ogba, has said the resignation of former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, reflects President Bola Tinubu’s zero tolerance for corruption.

Ogba stated this on Wednesday in Abuja while reacting to Nnaji’s resignation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN.

Daily Post reports that Nnaji resigned from his position on Tuesday following allegations of certificate forgery.

Ogba commended President Tinubu for upholding integrity and refusing to tolerate any form of misconduct within his administration, regardless of political affiliation.

“For President Tinubu to accept the embattled minister’s resignation shows his firm stance against corruption, whether real or perceived,” he said.

He also praised Nnaji for taking the honourable step of resigning, describing it as a move consistent with the moral and orientational reforms championed by the Tinubu administration.

Ogba urged Nigerians to continue supporting the president’s policies, stressing that they are designed for long-term national development.

“Tinubu is rebuilding almost all sectors of Nigeria’s polity; we must give him the needed support to succeed,” he added.
