2027: Obi speaks on coalition with Atiku

By

Ahead of the 2027 general election, former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, has declared that he is into a coalition to fight against bad governance, hunger, and poverty.

Obi said his decision is not for personal political ambition.

This comes amid reports that he has struck a deal with former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar to serve as his running mate in 2027.

It is reported that the deal revolves around a single tenure.

Speaking at an event in Kubwa, Abuja, Obi neither confirmed nor denied the existence of such an agreement.

He stated, “You can make the report what you want, but I’m in a coalition against bad governance, hunger, and poverty.”
