Afrobeat star, Davido, has refused to accept the request from a woman that he should follow her on Instagram.
The Nigerian music star said his wife will kill him if he ever grants the request.
The musician made this known in America during a stop on his 5ive Tour.
In the trending video on social media, the female fan, who was dressed in a revealing cloth, had requested if Davido can follow her on Instagram.
Declining the request, Davido noted that he can only follow Chioma, his wife.
A response that drew laughter from the crowd.
The lady asked: “Can you follow me on Instagram?”
The singer replied: "No, my wife will kill me. I can't follow anyone, I only follow my wife”.
It could be recalled that in an elaborate ceremony in June 2024, Davido got married to Chioma.
The event, which was held in Lagos State, drew an array of personalities, including governors, high-profile traditional rulers, celebrities, among others.
Davido had then, in a video clip he shared after the event, described it as the best day of the event.
