All the passengers with Power Autos were said to have fled the scene as soon as their vehicle was double crossed.

"Left alone, Power Autos came out of his vehicle to find out what the problem wss.

"As soon as he stepped out, he was fatally stabbed on the throat by Daddy Yo and four of his friends. He instantly bled to death," the source alleged.

He added that having completed their mission, the attackers tried to escape from one of the gates of the university but could not as all exit gates were already locked on the orders of the university security authority.

"As they ran into the waiting hands of the security personnel, five of them were rounded up and later handed over to the police," the source further disclosed.

It was also hinted that they are currently being detained at the Enugu State Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

As of the time of filing this report, both the UNN and the Nigeria Police are yet to issue a statement on the reported incident.
