The last post by Liverpool forward, Diogo Jota, before his demise, has emerged.
NATIONAL POST reported that the player died on Thursday in an accident in Spain.
He passed on alongside his brother, Andrè Silva.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the 25-year-old Penafiel player in Portuguese 2nd League, was als involved in the accident.
Their car had caught fire after the tyre blew up, leading to the fatal accident.
On June 28, Joto posted a tweet on his X account, regarding the ceremony of his wedding with Rute Cardoso, which took place on 22 June in Porto.
Alongside the pictures, Jota tweeted: "June 22, 2025. Yes, forever."
The death of the two brothers has been attracting reactions across the globe, with Liverpool describing Jota’s demise as devastating.
Manchester City has also sent their condolences.
