'I'm mummy's boy, not ashamed to admit it' - Damson Idris

By

British-Nigerian actor, Damson Idris, has opened up that he is a "mummy's boy."

He went ahead to say that he is not ashamed to admit it anymore.

According to the award-winning thespian, his mother is the reason he exists and she's his biggest fan.

She made the revelation in a recent interview with Kiss FM, London.

The 33-year-old actor said his goal is to make his mother proud.

He had this to say: "I am a mummy's boy. Big time. I am not ashamed to admit it anymore. It used to be kind of like - 'ah, he's a mummy's boy.'

“I am actually proud of myself on it. That woman there is the reason why I exist. She is my biggest fan and I'm her biggest fan.

"She is the one I want to make proud, and I relate to Joshua [a movie character] in that sense, too, because he just wants to make his mother proud and be the best and win a championship.

“And hopefully I can win a championship in whatever way I can, too."
