Amid the endless killings in Plateau State, a Fulani man with the Facebook name, Musa Idris Ubandoma has given tough conditions for the massacre to end.
NATIONAL POST recalls that just last week, over 30 persons were again killed in the troubled state by suspected armed herdsmen.
Governor of the State, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang had described the killings in the state as a massacre, just as he decried the refusal of security agencies to respond even when given prior information.
As families are still mourning the latest victims, Musa Idris Ubandoma has said if his conditions are not meant, more deaths would follow.
In the post which is generating reactions, he wrote:
"Plateau state can only get peace on these conditions:
“Deputy governor who is Fulani and Muslim;
“Appointment of one Muslim SSG;
“Ruga Land;
“State to support the Islamic Pilgrimage;
“We are one. We must live in peace, if not RIP."
In another inciting post, Ubandoma said:
"Plateau belongs to the Fulani. We will keep destroying those who want to stop us. Useless Arnes (a derogatory name Muslims use on those who are not of their religion). We must become deputy, then the governor of Plateau. Implement Shari'a, Allah Akbar."
In yet another of such posts, Ubandoma wrote:
"Fulani cows must be allowed to eat crops anywhere in Nigeria. We are citizens in the country too. Government must allow free movement, no stealing of cows."
Many Facebook users have reacted to the post which is yet to be pulled down as of the time of filing this report.
The netizens are tagging the various security agencies, urging them to take action.
There has been no reaction from security agencies.
