UCL: Osimhen shines as Galatasaray stun Liverpool, Mourinho loses on Chelsea return

Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, was the star man as Liverpool suffered a back-to-back defeat this season.

The Nigerian prolific player scored the winner as the team beat Liverpool 1-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Liverpool came into the match after losing 2-1 to Crystal Palace in last weekend’s Premier League. It was their first defeat of the season. 

Osimhen converted from the spot in the first half, as the Turkish giants claimed their first three points in this season's competition.

Jose Mourinho was on the losing side on his return to Stamford Bridge, as Benfica lost 1-0 to Chelsea.

Bayern have made it two wins from two after comfortably seeing off competition debutants Pafos 5-1 away from home, while last season's beaten finalists Inter Milan are also 100% after two games played, running out 3-0 winners at home to Slavia Prague.

Atletico Madrid (5-1 vs Eintracht Frankfurt) and Marseille (4-0 vs Ajax) have bounced back from opening day defeats to get their first points on the board for the campaign.
